This beautiful ballad was arranged by the great trombonist Conrad Herwig, who we perfomed with at our BYU Jazz Festival. It was fitting to keep the arrangement in the tour folder and feature our own trombonist Brian Woodbury. This tour was Brian’s last time with the band, as he has moved to the University of North Texas to work on his master’s degree. Once he arrived at UNT, he walked in and took the lead trombone chair in the venerable One O-Clock Lab Band. This recording comes from the open house for the new chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Riga, Latvia.
